Terms of Use
Version 2026-11-v1 · Effective [[TO CONFIRM: effective date]]
Contents
These terms are an agreement between you and Zentori Technologies L.L.C-FZ ("Zentori", "we", "us"), which owns and runs CliniClue. Events on CliniClue are run by organisers, such as the Global Association of Indian Medical Students (GAIMS) through its Medical Education Society (MESOG). By creating an account or taking part in an event you agree to these terms, to the rules on the event page, and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use CliniClue
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old.
1.2 Each organiser may set further eligibility for its events, for example membership or enrolment in a medical course. The event page states these. The organiser may ask you to confirm you meet them and may cancel a registration that does not.
1.3 You may hold only one account. Staff who can see an event's case content may not compete in that event.
2. Your account
2.1 Give accurate information, keep your password secret, and tell us at contact@zentori.tech if you think someone else has used your account.
2.2 You are responsible for what happens through your account unless it was used without your fault.
2.3 You can delete your account at any time in Account settings.
3. Your nickname
3.1 Your nickname is shown to other players and on the event screen. Choose one that is not offensive, does not impersonate anyone, and does not contain someone else's personal information.
3.2 We or the organiser may change or hide a nickname that breaks this rule, and will tell you why.
3.3 Once an event starts, your nickname for that event is fixed so results stay consistent.
4. How events work
4.1 Every player gets the same case at the same moment and the same time limit. A wrong diagnosis or a skip uses a turn and reveals the next clue. Fewer turns always beat a faster time. The full scoring rules are published on each event page and form part of these terms.
4.2 CliniClue's server clock and records decide when an answer was received and whether it counts. An answer counts only if the server receives it before the deadline. If you lose connection, the clock keeps running.
4.3 If a case is found to be faulty, the organiser may withdraw ("void") it for everyone. A voided case does not count toward anyone's score.
4.4 Ties share the same rank. A tie is never broken at random.
4.5 Results become final when the organiser publishes them. Results may be corrected later only to fix a proven error, and every correction is recorded.
5. Fair play
You must not:
- use another person's help, notes, search engines, artificial intelligence tools or any reference material during a live case, unless the event page allows it;
- share case content, clues or answers with anyone during an event, or publish them afterwards without permission;
- use more than one account, share an account, or play for someone else;
- interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses, automate play, or try to see information you are not meant to see;
- harass other players or staff.
If the organiser reasonably believes you have broken these rules, it may disqualify you from its event or remove your results, and we may suspend your account. You will be told the reason. You can ask for a review by writing to contact@zentori.tech within 7 days; someone not involved in the original decision will review it and answer in writing.
6. Prizes
6.1 Taking part is free. CliniClue never charges entry fees, sells tokens or credits, or accepts stakes of any kind.
6.2 If an event offers recognition or prizes, the event page describes them, who provides them, and any conditions. Prizes cannot be exchanged for money unless the event page says so.
7. Educational content, not medical advice
7.1 Cases are educational exercises written and reviewed for medical students. They may simplify real practice. They are not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose or treat anyone.
7.2 Cases do not identify real patients.
7.3 If you think a case is wrong, tell us at contact@zentori.tech. Every report is reviewed with the organiser.
8. Intellectual property
8.1 The CliniClue software, design and brand belong to Zentori. Cases, clues and explanations belong to their authors or the organiser and are licensed for use on CliniClue.
8.2 We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use CliniClue and view its content for your own learning while you take part.
8.3 You must not copy, scrape, republish, sell or use the content to train artificial intelligence models, except as the law allows or with written permission.
8.4 If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
8.5 If you believe content on CliniClue infringes your rights, write to contact@zentori.tech with details and we will act promptly.
9. Service availability
CliniClue is provided free of charge. We aim to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, or that any event will take place as scheduled. We or the organiser may change, pause or cancel events or features.
10. Liability
10.1 To the extent the law allows, CliniClue is provided "as is", and Zentori and event organisers are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss caused by your connection, your device or the conduct of other players.
10.2 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10.3 You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses caused by your deliberate breach of section 5.
11. Suspension and ending
You can stop using CliniClue and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice and reasons unless the law or safety prevents it. Sections 7, 8, 10 and 12 continue after your account ends.
12. Law and disputes
12.1 These terms are governed by the laws of India. [[TO CONFIRM: counsel to confirm governing law and court seat]]
12.2 Please contact our Grievance Officer first, the Data Protection Officer at contact@zentori.tech. We aim to resolve complaints within 30 days.
12.3 If a dispute is not resolved, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version with its date and, for changes that affect you materially, tell you in the app or by email before they apply and ask you to accept them before you register for another event. If you do not agree, you can delete your account. Registrations already made stay under the version you accepted, except for changes required by law.
14. General
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, the event page rules and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about CliniClue. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies, except where the law requires otherwise.
